How much time do I need to invest to prepare the calendar?
You should expect to spend around 3 hours on preparation.
This includes organizing materials, printing, assembling the calendar, and personalizing it with shared photos or your own details.
We have already taken care of the actual conception, design, planning, and instructions for you. Over 100 hours of work have gone into this project so that you can prepare your calendar in just a few hours.
Why isn't the calendar numbered from 1 to 24?
Because December can't be planned for most couples.
Some days are stressful, others calmer. That's why you decide which door fits best. On a short evening, you can do a 10-minute door. On a free Sunday, you can go on a longer date or do a DIY project.
This way, the calendar remains flexible and doesn't add extra pressure.
Do we have to see each other every day?
No, you don't have to see each other every day, but of course you can.
The calendar is most fun when done together. At the same time, it is deliberately designed to also work for couples who don't live together or don't see each other daily in December.
There are 6 doors that we personally recommend doing together because they simply work best as a pair. These doors are specially marked and will be explained in detail in the instructions.
Is the calendar digital or physical?
The calendar is a digital DIY product from which you can create your own personal, physical advent calendar.
Immediately after purchase, you will receive:
- the complete calendar, designed by a Swiss designer, as a ready-to-print PDF
- a welcome video with step-by-step instructions
- video tutorials with various personalization ideas

A finished calendar will not be sent by post.

Yes, but most of it is already prepared for you. You will receive a ready-to-print PDF, clear instructions, video tutorials and material lists. All you have to do is print out the calendar, cut it out, assemble it and personalize it with your own pictures or small details. The calendar is deliberately designed as a DIY product, so that it becomes a personal gift for your partner.
Do I still need to fill the calendar with gifts?
No, you don't have to buy 24 gifts. The calendar is based on shared tasks, conversations, small surprises, and creative moments. Some content can be supplemented with small materials, photos, or personal details, but you don't have to fill it traditionally with gifts. The focus is not on consumption but on spending time together.
How much time do we need daily for the calendar?
That depends on which door you choose. The calendar contains different time categories: 12 doors take approx. 5 to 15 minutes, 2 doors take approx. 30 minutes, 4 doors take approx. 2 hours, 6 doors with the interactive Christmas story each take approx. 10 minutes. So you can choose a short door on stressful days and take more time for each other on quieter days.
Do I need a printer?
Yes, the calendar is designed as a PDF for printing. You can either print it at home or have it printed at a copy shop, print shop, post office, or through an online printing service. For a particularly nice result, we recommend slightly thicker paper.
Can I personalize the calendar?

The interactive Christmas story consists of 6 doors, each with approximately 10 minutes of reading time. It is specially written for couples and combines Christmas spirit with mystery, suspense, and a modern Inception vibe. After each part, you will make a joint decision on how the story should continue. Your decisions will influence the further course of the story and make it an interactive experience that you discover together.
